1911 Release Schedule

  • Preview Release – November 8, 2019
  • Production Release – December 6, 2019 4
1.Enhanced Filter Options : What is it?

The filter options on the applicant list page have been enhanced to include more fields such as current company, current
title, veteran status and a number of custom fields. 5

Why is it important?
Users can filter on many fields at one time to narrow down the search for the best candidates who have applied to the job.6

Prerequisites
Fields are set up in Candidate Profile template
Use the Manage Templates tool to customize display options for Candidate profile template 7

2.Support Business Rules on Job Application: What is it?

As part of our second release for the support of Business rules on the Job Application, Recruiting users with admin privileges can define Business Rules for fields of an Application template:
• Rule for Offer Template Selection
• Rule for Offer Approval
• Rule for Candidate decision on Offer Letter
• Rule for Electronic Signature on Offer Letter 8

Why is it important?
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting customers can leverage the Business Rule engine to support client business processes.

Prerequisites
▫ Business Rules need to be enabled on the instance level.
▫ Business Rules need to be linked to a field on an application template.Support Business Rules on Job Application

3.Evergreen Requisitions (BETA) What is it?

An Evergreen requisition is used by companies to generate a pool of potential candidates for positions that are hard to fill or there is a volume number of positions available and the need to have a permanent list of potential candidates is needed. These requisitions are generally posted for a longer duration, simpler to create and post, may have less fields within the template and more generic requirements. In Q3 2019, the feature will be available to All customers as BETA

Why is it important?
End users will be able to:
• Create an Evergreen requisition and generate a potential list of candidates for that requisition
• Link Child requisitions to the Evergreen requisition
• Forward candidate as applicant from an Evergreen requisition to a Child requisition
• Report on Evergreen and Child requisitions

Prerequisites
Field ‘evergreen’ should be configured in Job Requisition template with relevant permissions for Operators.It is possible to configure the field via Job Requisition XML template upload on Provisioning or via Admin Center –> Manage Templates –> Job Requisition

4.Configure an Evergreen requisition?

1.To create an Evergreen requisition configure the field ‘ in the Job Requisition template and assign appropriate write permissions
for operators

2. To add child requisitions to an Evergreen requisition, Configure button LinkChildRequisitions in the Job Requisition template along with the field ‘ as follows

On the Job Requisition details page, toggle the switch ‘Evergreen‘ to turn it on.

5.Quick Apply: What is it?

Providing candidates to complete a job application in the fewest clicks possible, without needing to fill out a complete profile

Why is it important?
Recruiters will be able to:
 Create a Quick apply requisition and generate a potential list of candidates.
 Enable and Disable Quick Apply at any point of time in the Job Requisitions.
Candidates will be able to:
 One page view for the Account Creation and Job Application fields.
 Signing In, Creating a candidate profile can be done after applying to the job for a new candidate.
 Create an Account and apply to the Job Application with minimum clicks.

Prerequisites
Field ‘quickapply ‘ should be configured in Job Requisition template with relevant read/write permissions for Operators

6.Quick Apply Configuration?

Configuration details:
– Job Requisition A new standard field ‘ quickapply has to be added into the Job Requisition XML template to display the switch to
enable or disable the Quick Apply feature.
– Configure the field ‘ quickapply ‘ in the Job Requisition template as
Quick Apply Configuration
– Quick Apply field label can be changed from ‘Admin Center > Job Requisition Field labels’ page.

7.Mass Printing: What is it?

In Q4 2019, it is possible to print attachments uploaded in the application for multiple candidates.

Why is it important?
Previously, you could print only resume and cover letter for multiple candidates.Now customers have the ability to print documents such as
Certifications, Letters of Reference, etc. which come from the application, for multiple candidates.

Prerequisites
Provisioning –> Company Settings –‘Enable Inline Viewing of Resume’ switch which already exists in 1908
