1.Email Verification with One-Time Password

When an external candidate creates an account from the career site or updates the contact email address on the Candidate Profile, an email with a one-time password (OTP) is sent to the provided email address. The candidate must use this OTP to continue with account creation and updating of contact email. Sap SuccessFactors Recruiting H1 2021

When this feature is enabled:

• The CAPTCHA is no longer displayed while creating an account on the external career site.
• For account creation, the existing email address verification using the Career Site E-Mail Notification email trigger is ignored.

Note

In 2H 2020, we had temporarily disabled the Email Verification with One-Time Password for all customer instances. This feature is now available for all customer instances. Additionally, we have changed the configuration type for the OTP feature from Admin Opt-out to Admin Opt-in.

2.Posting a Job to Multiple Locations in Recruiting Posting

Jobs can now be posted to multiple locations at once on the job boards that support multiple locations.

Now, Location is a new category that saves the Location, Postcode, and the Country/Region information, and a new mapping named Map to location Foundation Object (Multiple locations supported) is introduced to the job posting rule to fetch the Foundation Object location information. When posting the jobs to multiple locations, you can set the Field Completion Rules to auto-populate the location information with default values or the Location Foundation Object defined in the job requisition template. 3.Enhanced Cookie Management Settings in Career Site Builder

Career Site Builder has improved its cookie banner and cookie consent manager settings, so that visitors to the public career site can customize their cookie settings.

Customers needed a way to present a detailed list of cookies used on their career sites, as well as give visitors the ability to accept or deny the use of specific cookies. Some organizations required this ability in order to meet government compliance requirements.

What’s Changed

In the current version, the new Cookie Manager tab provides extensive settings you can configure, and replaces the limited functionality of the Site Banner tab. The Site Banner tab is now the Legacy Site Banner tab, and is being retained for organizations who need to revise site banner settings, but aren’t ready to configure their cookie banner and cookie consent settings.

In the previous version, the appearance of a cookie banner was managed in the Site Banner tab. This tab only provided the basic settings for displaying a banner that notified visitors that the public career site used cookies. The Site Banner tab didn’t allow visitors to see the list of cookies used, or choose to opt out of specified cookies. Sap SuccessFactors Recruiting H1 2021
