3. Enhancements to the Redesigned Applicant Management Tool
There are additional enhancements to the Recruiting Applicant Management tool, which is being redesigned to provide an improved user experience for searching, filtering, and displaying of applicants who have applied to specific jobs.
Note
The redesigned Applicant Management tool is available only for customers who joined the Early Adopter Care (EAC) Program for Recruiting during the enrollment period. Registration is now closed.
In addition to the search enhancements introduced in the redesigned Applicant Management tool in 2H 2022, the workbench now provides these additional changes.
From the list of applicants, you can perform the following new actions:
- Change statuses with the Move button – the most frequently performed action on the applicant list is to move the status of one or more applicants. A new button, Move, is located prominently on the top right corner of the list, and lets you open the Move Applicants dialog directly for your selected applicants.
- Add Comment option – you can add a comment to one or more applicants at once with Add Comment.
The following system fields are now available for you to filter with and view in columns:
- Rating – the displaying of scores linked to screening questions.
- Forwarded from Requisition – displays the ID of the job requisition from where the applicant was forwarded.
Additional enhancements include the following:
- See agency-submitted candidates – candidates submitted by agencies now appear on the applicant list, and are identified with an Agency icon in the Candidate Type column.
- See the chosen names of internal applicants when you enable the General Display Name feature for your instance.
- See when applicants update their applications – with the Updated value in the New column when you enable Multi Stage Application.
- Search for words in an applicant’s uploaded resume. This was limited to resumes uploaded by the applicant, but now, searches can be performed on resumes uploaded by any internal Recruiting user, such as a recruiter or hiring manager.
- See a visual indicator if a comment is required for the selected status, when moving an applicant through the application statuses (formerly referred to as Talent Pipeline).
- View the details of individual candidates by clicking on their names.
- See a better visual distinction that differentiates among internal, external, and agency candidates.
- Invite candidates as late stage applicants only if they were forwarded. Late stage applications are not available to candidates who have already applied. SuccessFactors Recruiting H1 2023

4. SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Integration with Talent Intelligence Hub
You can integrate SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting with Talent Intelligence Hub to use the attributes, such as competencies and skills, defined in Talent Intelligence Hub.
As part of this integration, you can fetch competencies and skills from Talent Intelligence Hub and add them to the job requisitions. Additionally, on instances integrated with Job Profile Builder, it’s now possible to add skills to a job requisition without using a job profile and directly from the Talent Intelligence Hub.
The integration enables you to access attributes in Recruiting through a centralized framework.
Role-Based Permission Prerequisites
No specific permissions are required in Recruiting. Refer to the Permissions Required for Using Talent Intelligence Hub topic in the Related Information section to review the permissions necessary to use Talent Intelligence Hub
What’s Changed
How It Looks Now
In the current version, the existing Edit button on the Job Profile page is replaced with Format and Add buttons for the Skills and Competency sections. The Format option enables you to format the title and content. The Add button lets you add competencies and skills from Talent Intelligence Hub. Removing competencies or skills is an inline action for job requisition created using a profile.
In the current version, the Library and Category columns are removed from the Competency section when the job requisition is created without using a profile.
How It Looked Before
In the previous version, you could add attributes and format the title and content of the skill using the Edit option.
In the previous version, the Library and Category columns were available for the Competency section for the job requisition created without a profile.
