1. Alerts on the Latest Home Page
Directly from the latest home page, users can learn about upcoming events generated using EC Alerts.Employee Central and MDF alerts appear as glance-friendly cards in the For You Today section. They serve as timely reminders of approaching events, such as expiration of documents or employee data changes. Users can dismiss these cards temporarily by choosing Remind Me Tomorrow or permanently by choosing Done.
Home page users want their most urgent, pending tasks to appear on the home page. These new cards keep them notified about matters they need to take care of and allow them to plan early.

2. Automatic Upgrade to the Latest Home Page Experience
We’re automatically upgrading all customers to the latest home page experience. We upgrade your Preview system first to allow time for final testing. Then we upgrade your Production system 3 weeks later. After the upgrade, the legacy home page is no longer available.
We strongly encourage you to adopt the latest home page experience on your own timeline, before the automatic upgrade date.
After the upgrade, the latest home page experience is visible to all users of the system.

3. The Latest Role-Based Permissions
As an RBP administrator, you can now use the newest version of the RBP experience, the latest Role-Based Permissions, under Admin Center >> Manage Permission Roles >>> Switch to the Latest Role-Based Permissions.
In addition to a new look and feel, the latest version introduces the new concept of a role assignment. Role assignment defines the relationship between the access user and its target population within the role.
We delivered this enhancement to improve the Role-Based Permissions experience.

4. To-Do Categories in MDF Object Definitions No Longer Editable
he Todo Category field in MDF object definitions is no longer editable for both pre-delivered and custom MDF objects.
ou can no longer change the value through Configure Object Definitions, Extension Center, Import and Export Data, or APIs. For predelivered objects, the value is set by the product area of that object. For custom objects, the value is Generic Object Change Requests. Existing Todo Category field values will be overridden.
We made this enhancement to unify the workflow experience for MDF-based objects.

5. Role-Based Permission for Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures
You can now control a user’s access to managing foundation objects with the role-based permission (RBP), Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures.
Users have the permission by default.
Tip
We recommend checking which users need access and setting the permission accordingly.
In the current version, you can set the permission setting.
In the previous version, you couldn’t control the permission.

6. Search for Workflows with Inactive Users on Manage Workflow Requests
You can now specify inactive Employee Central users and search for all workflow requests related to them on the Manage Workflow Requests page.
