1. More To-Do Tasks on the Latest Home Page
To-do tasks requesting your approval of something appear in the Approvals section. Other to-do tasks appear in the For You Today section. You can enable to-do tasks on the latest home page in the Upgrade Center.
Remember
When to-do tasks aren’t available on the home page, you can still see them in the page header, using the (alert) icon and To Do List side panel.

2. New Hire Experience for Onboarding on the Latest Home Page
New hires can now view and complete their Onboarding process on the latest home page.The new hire information and tasks related to Onboarding, that are available on the latest home page are:
- Personal Data Collection (Help Us to Know You Better > Let us know about you)
- Additional Data Collection (Help Us to Know You Better > Let us know more)
- E-signature for Data Collection (Help Us to Know You Better > Complete your e-Signature)
- Compliance Forms (Your Compliance Forms)
- E-signature for Compliance forms (Your Compliance Forms > Complete your e-Signature)
- Welcome Message (Welcome Aboard!)
- Recommended Links (Your Onboarding Guide > Browse through the recommended links)
- Recommended People (Your Onboarding Guide > Know your key people to meet

3. Enhanced Internal Hire Onboarding Process
We’ve enhanced the internal hire onboarding process to allow a future manager to access internal hire details in the Onboarding Dashboard, Onboarding Dashboard (New), and To-Do tiles before the start date.
The future manager can now perform new hire tasks such as Schedule Meetings, Recommend People, and Recommend Links among others before the internal hire’s start date.

4. Enhanced Onboarding Restart Process
You can now configure whether to retain the new hire information in Onboarding after the manual and auto-restart or to update the information from the data that is passed from Recruiting.
The following enhancements are made for the restart process:
- After the auto-restart, you can configure whether to update the Onboarding start date and hiring manager values from Recruiting, or retain the existing values.
- After the manual restart, you can configure whether to update the Onboarding new hire information either from Recruiting, or retain the existing information entered during the Onboarding steps (for example, New Hire Data Review and Personal Data Collection).
This restart enhancement is supported only for new hires and rehires. SuccessFactors Onboarding H2 2021

5. Enhanced Picklist Mapping from Recruiting to Employee Central
We’ve enhanced the picklist mapping from Recruiting to Employee Central based on the Option ID.
This enhancement provides consistent integration with Onboarding because Option IDs are unique system-generated codes.
In the current version, mapping for the Recruiting picklist is done using Option ID if there’s an exact match in Employee Central. If there isn’t an exact match, mapping is done using the Label in Employee Central with the picklist Label fetched from Recruiting. The matched labels are mapped again with the external code. If the external code for the picklist doesn’t match, then the first matching Label in Recruiting is passed to Employee Central. SuccessFactors Onboarding H2 2021
