1.Enhancements to Temporary Holiday Calendar and Temporary Work Schedule Quick Approval Cards
We’ve made enhancements to the quick approval cards to include details that are specific to the temporary time information changes.
When an employee requests a temporary work schedule or a temporary holiday calendar using the employee self-service user interface, the approver can view the requests on the home page in the form of a quick approval To-Do card. The quick approval card includes details like the employee name, time period, and the type of temporary time information. The temporary time information type could be a temporary work schedule or a temporary holiday calendar.
How It Looks Now
In the current version, the temporary time information is a customized card that includes details specific to temporary time information. Details include duration of the temporary time information, the type of temporary time information, and the name of the holiday calendar or work schedule that’s being assigned in the temporary time information.
How It Looked Before
In the previous version, the approval cards that were displayed for temporary time information were generic workflow cards. The cards didn’t have specific temporary time information.

2.Movement of Permissions from Employee Views Category to Time Management User Permissions Category
We’ve moved the permissions related to Employee Self-Service Time Off UI and Time Sheet UI from the Employee Views category to the Time Management User Permissions category.
The Employee Views permissions are used to define which sections are shown on the legacy People Profile. However, the Time Off and Time Sheet permissions in Employee Views aren’t used in the legacy People Profile, but only for the Time Off Employee Self-Service UI and Time Sheet UI. Time Off is validated on the Time Off Employee Self-service UI and Time Sheet is validated on the Time Sheet UI. These permissions are now moved to the Time Management User Permissions category and listed as Access Time Off and Access Time Sheet.
Note: All existing permission roles with Employee Views permission for Time Off and/or Time Sheet have been automatically migrated to Time Management User Permissions for Access Time Off and/or Access Time Sheet. For new permission roles, only Access Time Off and/or Access Time Sheet needs to be set, the Time Off and Time Sheet permissions under Employee Views are not available anymore.
How It Looks Now
In the current version, the Access Time Off and Access Time Sheet permissions are moved from the Employee Views category to the Time Management User Permissions category.
How It Looked Before
In the previous version, the Time Off and Time Sheet permissions were part of the Employee Views category.

3.New Balance Calculation Setting for Time Account Types
We’ve added a balance calculation setting for time account types that allows you to consider future negative bookings such as absences and negative manual adjustments when calculating current time account balances.
You can use the Consider bookings after calculation date balance calculation setting to calculate the time account balances in the same way you could use this setting to calculate time type balances. As a result, the balances as of today for the time account are consistent with the time type balance. This enhancement allows the users to view the complete time account balances as of today’s date including future bookings such as planned absences. We recommend using the new setting to display consistent balances between the time type and time account balances. The default value for the Consider bookings after calculation date field matches the value of the corresponding field in the related time type.
How It Looks Now
Now, when Balance Calculation Setting is set to Consider bookings after calculation date in the time account type, the balance calculation as of today’s date considers future negative bookings.
How It Looked Before
Previously, the time account balance as of today’s date did not consider the future bookings, for example, absences, during calculation. This behavior was not consistent with the time type balance calculation, which did consider future postings with the setting Consider bookings after calculation date.
