Onboarding 2.0 vs 1.0 , The basis of Onboarding 2.0 is SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Whether you currently have Employee Central or you are still using SAP HR or a third party HRIS, Onboarding 2.0 will benefit all models. Onboarding 2.0 vs 1.0.

Onboarding 2.O

  • Built on the SuccessFactors platform and EC data structures, so no need for user, permission and foundation sync or separate pre-day one process configuration
  • Takes advantage of EC localization features
  • Consistent look and feel with the rest of the suite
  • All of the admin tools are in a single place
  • Onboarding activities can be executed by many different participants
  • Takes advantage of People Analytics
  • Uses Role Based Permissions
  • Mass task processing by participants
  • Onboarding 2.0 vs. Onboarding 1.0
  • Triggered via SFSF Recruiting
  • Triggered via External Applicant Tracking (ATS) system
  • Ability to start the Onboarding process manually (without the trigger coming from a Recruiting system)
  • Ability to define different onboarding programs and tasks as per business criteria (e.g. country)
  • New Hire (onboardee) data review by hiring manager or other participant

• Status, due dates, completion times etc.
• Email notifications to assist in timely completion
• Form I-9 monitoring and tracking per new hire in the Onboarding Dashboard , Onboarding 2.0 vs 1.0

With general availability, the 1H 2021 Release is expected to deliver: *
• Support for E-Verify
• Support for remote completion of Form I-9
• Section 3 of Form I-9 (Rehires and Reverification)
• Audit reporting for I-9 and E-Verify Onboarding 2.0 vs 1.0
