4.Removal of “Pending Requests” Permission
All users can now access the Pending Workflows page without requiring a specific permission.
The User Permissions >> Employee Views >> Pending Requests permission has been deleted.
As a result, all logged-in users can open the Pending Workflows page without any specific permission. Previously, that permission was required to access it through the global header search, the quick action on the home page, or a URL.
Because the Pending Workflows page only shows the current user’s pending requests, or requests the user has already processed, a permission check is not necessary. This enhancement simplifies system administration and optimizes business configuration.

5.A Dependent Can Only Be Linked to One Employee
We’ve introduced a new validation to ensure that a dependent can be linked to only one employee. This can help avoid data inconsistency issues.
If a dependent has already been linked to an employee in your company, and you try to link this dependent to another employee through Admin Center Import Employee Data. Previously, linking a dependent to multiple employees was allowed, but would cause inconsistent data.
Note: If you still wish to link the same dependent to multiple employees, you can create multiple persons for this dependent in the system.
This validation only applies to newly added dependents. Previously created dependent records won’t be affected.
We’ve made this change to ensure data consistency in your system.
The system automatically adopts this new validation, and there is no configuration requirement for you.
What’s Changed
How It Looks Now
If you try to link one dependent to multiple employees, you’ll receive a validation error.

6.Redesigned Dependents Editing UI and History UI
In the latest People Profile, we’ve redesigned the Dependents Editing UI and History UI to provide a more intuitive and less error-prone experience. These enhancements align with previous redesign of data viewing experience for dependents.
Previously, in the legacy People Profile, you can access the Editing and History UIs by selecting the Edit and History buttons on the Dependents block. The editing UI displays all dependents on one single page. You need to select the Edit Details buttons to edit full details for each dependent. Meanwhile, the History UI doesn’t show full details of dependents. All of these could lead to inconvenience or errors when you update individual dependents’ information.
Now we’ve resolved these issues by moving the Edit and History buttons to individual dependents’ records. On the Dependents details page, each dependent appears as a separate entry in the left pane, with their name, relationship, and date of birth. You can select a dependent to display their full information in the right pane. You can then choose Edit to update this dependent’s details, or History to manage their history records.
Additionally, if an employee has deleted dependents as of a past date, the dependents details view page now displays a dropdown to switch between Active and Deleted dependents.
These enhancements are designed to help you manage dependents more effectively and conveniently.
