SAP Cloud Identity Services – Identity Authentication is a public cloud service for secure authentication and single sign-on for SAP cloud and on-premise applications. It can act as an identity provider or be used as a proxy to integrate with the existing single sign-on infrastructure of a customer. Previously, customers had to follow a number of procedures and manual steps to enable Identity Authentication services for Employee Central [Payroll](https://www.lorenzo-datasolutions.com/successfactors-employee-central-videos/). In many countries/regions, there’s a legal obligation to process planned working time after [termination](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBe3eqcHamY) in payroll. You specify **2** months in the **Termination Offset** field. You can now configure the point-to-point replication to work with SSL certificates( X.509 certificates). To assist with this process, the point-to-point configuration report (transaction HRSFEC_PTP_CONFIG) has been enhanced with a new option. The certificates are pushed automatically into the Employee Central Payroll system and can be imported manually into Employee Central. This feature had limited availability in the last release H1 2022. In this release (H2 2022), this feature has been made available across most data centers and some of the restrictions have been removed. You use this program to set up the connection between an SAP payroll system and  Employee Central that is needed to replicate employee master data and time data using the point-to-point (PTP) integration. You run this report by using transaction HRSFEC_PTP_CONFIG. You can select the following options: * **Set connection Data** * **Ping Employee Central APIs**. The output of the report depends on the selected mode.
